These terms apply when you use Toolora. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

What Toolora provides

Toolora provides everyday utility tools. Expense Split helps you record shared expenses, allocate itemized receipts, calculate multi-currency balances, prepare settlement suggestions and create reports. It is a record-keeping and calculation aid, not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking expense amounts, participants, shares, manually entered FX rates, payment adjustments, balances and settlement suggestions before relying on them or making a payment. Resolve any disagreement with the people involved in the group.

Local data and backups

The current version stores Expense Split data locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any backups or exported copies you need. The Toolora developer cannot restore deleted local data.

Exported and imported files

Toolora group files and Excel workbooks may contain member names and expense details. Share them only with people and services you trust. Anyone who receives a Toolora group file may be able to read it and import a separate editable copy. Imported groups are independent; later changes are not synchronized or merged automatically.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Toolora, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or use the app in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.

Availability and warranties

Toolora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to make it reliable, we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no additional warranties are made beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Toolora developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, reliance on its calculations, loss of local data or the sharing of exported files. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to Toolora or these terms

Toolora and these terms may change as features evolve. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, it will be provided as required by applicable law.
